How to convert Boycott advance saves to Visualboy Advance saves

Hey all, I've been playing with Boycott advance for some time now, and I have some saves. I wanna switch to Visualboy Advance, however it won't read the save files from Boycott advance. So, is there a way to convert the saves so Visualboy will read them?

I'm not sure if this works, but try changing its extension to .sav.
