I'm having some trouble with a game

ePSXe is the best one, I have yet to encounter a game that it cannot run. Find a program called ISObuster and you can convert the mdf image into something else and try it that way. I haven't seen any mdf images yet, but cdi are a pain when it comes to dreamcast emulation.

Another option would be, get Daemon-Tools and mount the CD image file. After that 'run the CD' with ePSXe.

I found a better ISO and it works perfectly fine. Thanks everyone for the advise.
