Well, Just today I transfrered all my gba games and saves from my 98 to my Xp. when I try to play any game, I have to start a new save and it won't let me use my old one. Is there any way to use these anymore?

Well, I've been upgrading visual boy advanced every time a new version came out and all my saves have been working on the 98, so I'm not sure which version each save is from.
Now I understand what you're saying. I just downloaded the latest version of vba and it writes out the file's full name instead of a part of it.
