The NES games are not composed of layers that make that 3D scrolling effect, so the only things that you can disable are sprites and the background.
I've been a casual fan of playing old NES/SNES games on emulators on and off for several years. One emulator, ZSNES, has a cool feature allowing you to disable various layers of the background and sprites. My question is, is there an NES emulator that allows you to do the same? Is it even possible for NES games? I only ask cause it would help me a lot in doing some sprite capturing, if I could just disable the background.
Thanks!

Are there any NES emulators that allow you to disable either the sprites and/or background? I know there are a lot of NES emulators out there but none of the few that I've tried so far seem to have that feature.
