most people with logitech/ps2 pads map the right analog to the c buttons, but with the default analog configuratoin it means that when you puch a c button it ends up pushing the wrong button or two at once, etc. I've seen a couple of threads on various boards looking for a solution to this problem, but haven't found a satisfactory answer. I figured one out this morning, and thought it would be useful for other people with the same problem. There are prolly more elegant solutions, so please let us know if ou have one.

Anyhow, I have a dual action controller and it sucked in games like oot which make major use of c buttons. so what i did is get gamepad profiler, and in the profiler I mapped the right analog to the default keyboard keys used for the c buttons. i use Pinnacle Game Profiler, but you could use anything including your pad config software (although then the config will apply to any game you use it for). the key is that you need to set the dead zone super high (like 85%), which will prevent the pad from sending the wrong command. In the profiler, leave all of the other buttons unnasigned (although i also assign the gamepad select button to F5 for quick saves). then, in your controller plugin, leave the default keys for the c buttons, and map the rest of the game pad there.

this works awesome, you just need to remember to run the profiler when playing the game. i'm hoping that a right analog config can be included in foture versions of input plugins.

hope this helps.
