I just found a website that had an english version of "Boktai: The Sun is in your hands". But it won't work, when I try to get into the game, a message pops up in the game saying that the sonar plating on the cartridge is broken(since it's a rom, that is pretty obvious). Is there something out there that can fix this problem? Just asking for any help...

Unless they have something to emulate the sun-sensor, you are probably screwed

I don't think the solar panel has been emulated yet. Not entirely sure how they'd do that either...just tell the game it's in bright sunlight all the time?

Well, I mean if they wanted to they could make it somewhat random, or have it follow a day/night cycle. Full sunlight 24/7 isn't the only option, though I think it would probably be the most popular.

You'd need some sort of mathematical model to make it interesting. Set periods of day and night would be boring, I'd suggest mixing in a somewhat chaotic model to emulate things like walking into shadows, etc.

A few days after a second release was out.
With this you could change the sunlight with a combination of buttons!!
