anyone know of any good video capture programs that will capture the video of what's emulated in the emulator? and where to get them, assuming they're shareware.

Some emulators have built in recordning capabilities, so you may want to look into that also

Fraps recognizes at least some emulators, and it has video and screenshot capture capabilities. I'd check out the utilities section of Zophar's Domain first, for system/emulator-specific tools.

Most emulators, games and video players use DirectX, which can't be captured using
normal means. Try to find image capture software that specifically claims to support DirectX capturing, and you should be able to use it with (Windows) emulators. |
