Playstation games problem

The problem that I am having is somedays it will play the game and someday I just get a blank screen, well it won't play. It wll play other game for a couple of days then suddenly it won't. I don't know if it's the plug or the games it self, but I know it s nt my dvd burn because plays resident evil fine. Do need to burn a copy of it first or can I put it on my hard drive? I don't know what to do, so what can I do?

are you talking about ps1 games or ps2 games b/c only ps2 games use dvd format.

you should be able to read the image directly though the emulator if you have it on your harddrive.

It's a playstation 1 game I don't know how to get the playstation 2 one to work. The problem is sometimes it would play and sometimes it won't, but when it play it would play like the games is scratch or something. The game is in perfect condition, I'm thinking it's my computer.

if you're running it directly from the cd, try ripping the image file (ISO) and playing it through your harddrive.
