Occasional little pops in the audio

Hello, I am using P64 Version 1.6, and noticed that when I choose in the 'Configure Audio' menu the default settings for Jabo's Directsound, gives me occasional popping or brief gaps in the sound.

When I checkmark "Sync game to Audio" it fixes the popping sound, but the framerate is reducted by 2 fps.

Same effect with zilmar's Audio Plugin.

I'm pretty sure I meet the recommended specs for this emulator.

Do i really have to live with the sound clipping in order to play full framerate?

You can try with another sound plugin or get over it with less FPS.
