    Unhappy please oh lord help me with the project 64 emulator

    ok im facing a confusing dilema, I launch project 64 then it tells me (Direct 3D failed to initialize) - error code D3Derr_ not avaliable. The default or selected video plugin is missing or invalid. But when i go into the plugin section in the settings the plugin, jabos direct 3d8 1.6 and 1.5 shows its there. and its in the project 64 plugin folder as well. I installed directx 8 as well I dont know if thats interferring or what... I dont even know anymore and im losing my mind trying to figure this out!!! ineed help. thank you for listening....

    Looks like your Direct3D hardware acceleration is disabled. Also, check if D3D DirectX is enabled.

    ok, hey thnx for the help, hey just one more question.. the killer instinct gol rom ive got from here is running really jittery and some of the video is messed up... any suggestions? Im not very good with determining most of the terms in the settings..lol.

    hey how do i fing out if that stuff is enabled or disabled? d3d and the hardware accelerator?

    To check if D3D is enabled: Go to Start --> Run and then put dxdiag. Go to the Display tab and check if all three features are enabled (DirectDraw, Direct3D and AGP Texture).

    To check if hardware acceleration is enabled: Right click your desktop and press Properties. Click the Settings tab and then the Advanced button. Then click the Troubleshoot tab and check if Hardware acceleration is set to Full.
