"NVidia Riva TNT2"
Bingo.
Hello, I'm new here. I'm trying to run a few different N64 emulators, and having absolutely no luck. Either, I don't have a 3D graphics card, or I don't have it set up properly. My PC should be plenty fast, 1.8Ghz. My graphics card is NVidia Riva TNT2. Am I not able to do anything without different hardware? Or what do I need to do software wise? I have read different help topics, but nothing seems to have the help I need. THANKS!

Bingo.
meaning I'm screwed?
No. TNT cards work with Project64 as described in the download section of PJ64. All you need to do is to configure it wisely. Use Jabo's Direct3D6 instead of Direct3D8 since your card is too old, but should work OK.
Butters is AGAIN might i add correct... What would we do without you butters Lol..
I tried switching to Jabo's Direct3D6, but it didn't work either. I tried to update my display drivers, no dice. I tried getting as far as I could on the PJ64 help page, but no luck either. What am I missing?
Is there an error message? Are the graphics messed up?
"Direct3D failed to initialize your HAL device-make sure you have a properly configured 3D graphics card compatible with Direct3D 6.0"
then another message says
"failed to initialize graphics"
Now, are you using Project64 1.5 or 1.6?
I get that message when I use 1.5. If that doesn't work, use another plugin.
Yup, my version is too old. I'll update and report back.
