    Default PKMN Emerald question

I have just gotten a Pokemon Emerald ROM and it won't play on Visual Boy Advance. All that comes up is a white screen. Which of my settings should I change? Thanks.

I also have a pkmn emrald rom. However, it will play. The problem is it says that the internal battery has run dry, and clock-based events will no longer occur. Not a good thing... u_u'

Yes, this happened to me to. It is something from pokemon, not the emulator. Apparently, there is some "internal battery" that keeps track of clock based events. Since we are not on a real GBA, it will say that message. The game will continue to work fine, and I believe clock based events still do occur.
