Thread: ZSNES key mapping?

    Default ZSNES key mapping?

I'm brand new to this forum, so please excuse my newbieness.

I built an Arcade earlier this year and I've been running MAMEWAH (a frontend, controlable by Control Panel input (Joysticks and CP buttons) and up until now MAME and VisualPinball. I recently installed ZSNES (I believe v1.36).

I can launch it and run a game, but I'm getting some strange results for some of the keys:

I tried setting them in config/Input #1, but when I run a game, I get the following messages when I press these keys:
    Player 1 = BG1 Layer enabled / disabled
    Player 2 = BG2 Layer enabled / disabled
?? = Sprite Layer enabled / disabled (I don't remember the key at the moment)

I also see that there is a GameKeys window, what is that?

I'd also like to be able to map ESC to exit out.

Can someone assist or provide me a link to something I can read to better understand this great little emulator?

    Thanks, MPTech ('da new guy)

make sure that you key configuration dont conflict with others. I would recommend zxas for the game keys. Esc is to pause the game into the zsnes menu by default.
