ePSXe problem- please help

I've downloaded and installed all the plugins and bios already. When I run the game, it works fine; however, there's a problem with the texts in my games. Like when a character is saying something the text doesnt disappear, nor do some of the other texts. I've been looking around in the config video menu and haven't found anything that would fix this. Can someone please help?

What game are you trying to play?

Anyway, try to configure the graphic plugin by clicking 'Configure' after you pick any of the Pete's GPU or P.E.Op.S GPU plugin. Then click on 'Nice' setting and 'OK'.
