No install with my MAME download.

I downloaded the top MAME emulator. I uncompressed the contents of the folder, but there was no auto-install, and none of the contents of the folder would open an install file of any kind. Anyone else had this problem, or advise for a newbie to the world of using emulators? Thanks so much.

You mean like a Windows installer ?
Simply Run the .exe.
Which Mame have you downloaded ?

Thanks for gettign back, but I figured it out. I downloaded the WIN32 MAME, at the top of the list. Problem is, like the other emulators I downloaded, I was expecting it to have an exe. file. It did not, and it occurred to me that it just needed to be opened through CMD, and wouldn't do so, until I moved the games for it into the ROM folder in it's directory. But, I got it sorted out, thanks for the help.
