final fantasy tactics advance

I've been playing this game for a while and am right in front of the final fight (yay!)...but sadly my emu won't let me play it!
To enter the fight you need to head to a certain location on the map, when you reach it the game asks you if you want to save (yes/no)
If I say no the dialogue vanishes and nothing happens
If I say yes the saving screen will show up and there it says "Fehler im Speicher" which translates to "Error in Memory" then the dialogue vanishes and nothing happens :?
I can move about freely and all but I can't enter the final fight!

The emulator I'm using is the VBA

sounds like a bad rom. try using a good program. im not too experienced with them myself but i assume there is one for gba. try searching google for goodgba.

I just tried that and the file dosen't contain any fixes to Final Fantasty Tatics

I am having the same trouble as kaze89 right now I cant finish the game because once you press yes on the save menu you can continue and finish the last stage of the game. By pressing "No" the game wont let you enter the final stages.
