Default N64 Controller vis BOOM USB Adapter w/Project64 Problem

I'm using the N-Rage plugin for input v1.83 and all the buttons register fine, its just in Mario 64, mario only walks, he cant run. Ive tried just about everything in the controller config to get him to run and he wont. Im almost positive he is supposed to, maybe im wrong, any help would be appreciated.

    Im new, be easy.

    in short:

    Calibrate.

    in long:

Happens to most people, just go in to the windows joypad configuration tool under the control panel, and select the joystick to calibrate by double clicking on it. Then under I think advanced you will see a calibrate. Make sure to do a complete circle what it asks you to..

Well, you need to map the virtual N64 analog joystick to use a real analog one on you gamepad

Ahh, good point. I have seen that happen too. N-Rage plugin does have a analog range you can set up. If you map it to match the joystick driver it will work much better. Although I do suggest the calibration as well.
