Greetings Nes-fans...
I am thinking of a project, to play games on my NES, games that i have in .nes format on my hard drive...
I ll probably use 1 or 2 parallel ports as an interface, serving data on the cpu, as requested...
My question is, is the parallel ports' speed, quick enough to handle, NES' ROM-data requests?....
At what frequencies are we talking about?...
I think NES clock is about 1,7 mhz (think i read it somewhere), so rom access should have a frequency <1 mhz or something...
It would help telling me if someone tried something like that..
Thanx in advance...
