PS2 Dvd-r (please respond back)

hey everyone, I dont know if this has been asked before, but I just got back from an 8 hour flight, and I dont want to search at the moment,but is it just me or do the memorex dvd-rs suck for burning ps2 games?? any other ones that I should buy to get the full quality of the game? thx in advance.

probably just a bad disk or bad batch. memorex isnt known to be utter crap.
