Thread: Trouble with Nintendo DS emulators

1. #1

Default Trouble with Nintendo DS emulators

Ensata 1.3c
DSemu 4.8
Ideas 1.0.0.5
Dualis 1.2

None of these Work for me. THey all crash or don't perform.

The closest one to working was Ensata 1.3c. I was running Metroid Hunters but there was no sound, poor frame rate, and eventually crashed. I'm running on a very new decent machine so that cannot be the problem. I heard that Ensata is only sposed to work with EA games?

If someone knows a better one that does work plz post it here.

Ensata, DSemu, Ideas, Dualis, etc. are just prototypes, so don't expect them to work right now. Maybe in 4 or 5 years we will see a very decent Nintendo DS emulator.

Ensata is a private prototype. The others do not run commercial games.
Buy a real DS.

Bah! ROMS are already dumped (around 300 something) and luckilly there is no emulator would managed to play those games yet.

Buy the real thing!

if u own a flash cart (check out http://ndsupdates.qj.net ) u can download the ripped roms to it and play them on ur ds. But, the gear u need to do that costs around $200, so it's cheaper to just buy the games

All I want is to play ADVANCE WARS: DUAL STRIKE

That's the only game I want to play for the DS system because I fell in love with Advance Wars 1 & 2 for the GBA.

I have the ROM and 5 emulators that all don't work with it. I even checked this website's listing of what ROMs work with what emulator: http://www.ndsemulator.com/nintendo-...s-nds-roms.htm

And this game does not currently work with any.

I guess I'll have to wait because I'm not going to buy the DS for just one game. Unless they come out with a great Mario sidescroller...but when's the last time they've done that (not including Yoshi games).

So if anyone ever finds an emulator or an update with a current one that enables play of ADVANCE WARS: DUAL STRIKE, please let me know.

Thank You
