Wow FF7 blackscreen

I can't seem to find a way. I got epsxe 1.5.2 and pete's D3D driver 1.76. But when I play FF7 with cd, and click "New game" It turns blackscreen. Is there a way or plugin that can fix that?

try epsxe 1.6.0?

Yep not working. Btw the speed at the opening looks normal on ps1. I can't use ps1 because I borrowed it from my friend.

try some other graphic plugins or a different ps1 emulator.

I don't know, but I always get good results with the 1.5.2 version. Say, I just downloaded Chrono Cross and I ran it with 1.6.0. When I chose New Game it turned black, but when I tried the 1.5.2 it went allright.

Problems on CD reading I doubt.

Eh, I guess it's the CD then. Let me clean it.

You may want to make an image of that CD to make it easier to be played on your PC.
