FF7 Problem

I have a problem with FF7 and its at a certain point of the game. Its at the point when you are at the city of ancients and Bugenhagen turns the key and water starts flowing down. When I enter the place where the water is falling, all I see is a black screen, and a blipping sound. I burned this off my CD and it worked just fine on the PSX.

I'm using ePSXe 1.6.0 and I've played around with the settings, tried making another ISO from my CD, yet nothing works. It is also the PAL version, if that helps. I've also tried all the plug-ins available, but I think there is something wrong with my original CD, or its just ePSXe/computer can't handle that part. Have any suggestions?

If nothing works, can someone play through that part from a save file?

Did you try using ePSXe 1.5.2?

HAHA, I just fixed it!!! After 3 months!!!

I used daemon tools, and made the ISO a Virtual CD.
There was nothing wrong with the CD... and for lots of people whom I know have this problem, this will solve it.

Oh, that's a sad story as I just solve it by my own within minutes.
