problem with sonic adventure 2

hi, need nhelp with this, when i play sonic with chan kast, when i play on the good team, the game crashes like 1/4 way through the level, the 1'st level on good. is there a way 2 fix this cuz iu really wana b able 2 play the other half of the game, is it my verson?? if so can i no which 1 to d.l thx i have the sonic without jap speech. thx
