Please Help Me! Save Files!

Please I need help. I am playing Pokemon Emerald right now and everytime i try to save IN THE GAME not by going to file, it says that it is checking the backup memory. Please tell me what is going and! Help! Without your help i will never make it to the battle frontier.

You might try the different save types VBA have. Once you change the saves type settings, close your emu and delete the generated save file to try again. It will be located on your battery file path on VBA, check it in correct menu.

The "Save States" option might help you too, and you can set it to auto save state whenever you quit the game or emu, and auto resume play.
