2 questions:

does anyone know how to take these black borders out of these two games?

does anybody else have trouble with the audio in F-Zero X?

dk64 audio is fine but, f-zero x audio is very choppy it skips A LOT!

Try checking the "Sync game to audio" in the Configure Sound Plugin.
