Thread: FFIX has no battle menu

  1. #1

Default FFIX has no battle menu

When playing FFIX it runs fine but there is no battle menu. Specs are...

    ePSXe 1.5.2
    Pete's D3D 1.75
    Eternal SPU

    866 Celeron
    256 mb ram
    8 mb vid card

I've tried using Pete's OpenGL 1.75, which actually brings up the battle menu. Only problem is I can't use the openGL in fullscreen (chops the bottom and right side off), and I get severe slow downs in Windowed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Just because your video card is 8MB and a slow processor, you game will eventually slow when you put it as a fullscreen with Pete's OGL.

Try Leerz's method and see. '

    Default The solution

The Final Fantasy battle menu is tied into "Off Screen Drawing" in the video configuration menu and it needs to be set to Standard, usually #2. I found this out through trial and error. Hope it helps.
