Default Resident Evil: Directors Cut sound problems

When I playRE: DC. The voices in the cutscenes are choppy & distorted. I even made a ISO of my game and it hasn't help much.
    Can somebody help me?

    I'm running ePSXe v.1.6.0.

    The plugin's I'm using are:
    GPU: Pete's D3D Driver 1.75
    SPU: Eternal SPU Plugin 1.41
    BIOS: SCPH1001

    And my system specs are:
    CPU: 700Mhz Intel Celeron
    RAM: 256MB
    OS: Windows XP Pro
    Video: 64MB NVIDIA GeForce2 DDR
    Soundcard: Onboard

I'd been through in the same results using numerous emulators. Even in console, the game still resulted in a same way. Same with Resident Evil 2 : Dual Shock Version.

I guess you had to live with it.

(Well, unless there is someone who have a better solution.....)

I put the game on my dad's pc with the same exact GPU & SPU settings i'm running on mine and it works fine.

I think it's my crappy Celeron giving me trouble, again
