Hey everbody noob here. I was wondering how mame canbinets work. Like if I build one would I have to keep a mouse and keyboard connected all the time or is it possible to boot up to an emulator and select a game with controller?

Go to this site: http://www.russprince.com/cabinet/ and click the link that says "Keyboard Drawer". That would be a good solution.
