Unexpected parameter in Dolphin

ive spent hours scouring the internet trying to figure this out all to no avail. i recently downloaded Dolphin, the emulator and have tried numerous copies of the Pokemon games, but for some reason the games wont play in the emulator. It doesnt show up in the menu when Dolphin is launched and if I try manually, it gives me an "unexpected parameter".. any ideas on how to fix this would be welcome

How exactly does it say?
"Unexpected Parameter ....."
