Lagging

I just installed pcsx2 and I am having troubles with it lagging. I noticed when i first start a game (only tried 1 game so far) it is at 60 fps then when I actually get into the game it slows to 20-30 fps. This is causing huge lags in the game. I wasn't sure if it was the game, a plugin I need to install, or my hardware. I have this installed on an HTPC that has 4 GB of RAM, quad core AMD Processor (3.0 GHZ), 32bit operating system, and an onboard ATI Radeon HD 4250 graphics card. I'm guessing the graphics card might be the issue? But the graphics card works just fine for full HD movies, so I dont see why it wouldnt work for this. Does anyone have any suggestions on what might be the culprit?

Hello, mhermsen21. The Radeon HD 4250 is a gfx card designed for watching HD movies,not gaming.

RayWM is right.Your graphics card is far too weak for pcsx2.
