Nintendo Controller Adapter Problems

Hey guys it might be me making some really stupid point or something simple. But i have a Nintendo controller and adapter for playing my ROMS but for some reason i was doing the crontroller set up and i cant set the down C button at all it registers ive pressed it but never actually sets it to that button ;/ anybody have any idea how to get round this?

what plug in are you using? Some of those bad adapters out there press two buttons when hitting a button on the controller. Find your way to the game controllers panel in the control panel and see what button on the computer side is being pressed when C down is hit. Then I can help you manually set it.

You can also try NRage's plugin instead of Jabo's it's more compatible with adapters n crap like that from my experience
