firered after elite4 doesnt work

after beating the elite4, and after the thing automatically resets the game after the credits roll, i can't get it to continue on, because every time it starts up, it says circuit board something is not installed, and always goes to an automatic new game

please help me, because i am stuck here, and the game keeps starting a new game after the credits roll by because my lack of ability to fix this

once again, plz help
