Mame32 background

Well, this is my first post since discovering the wonderful world of MAME. All of a sudden it's the 1980's again. How I missed Galaga, Mr. Do, Battlezone, and so on and so on. I got everything going except the background. I tried to change it from the gray that came with it (MAME32 version .89), but can't seem to do it. It has to be .png or .bmp but that hasn't helped. Anyone who cares to give me a step by step I would appreciate the help. It isn't critical just tweaking things now. If nothing else say hi. Happy New Year to everyone. SB644.

To change the background image you need to find a PNG file that you want to use and rename it to bkground.png and put it in your C:\Mame\Snap.

At least that is how I did it the last time I tried it.
