Big Problem With VBA Emulator Here

Hello Guys, I have a bit of a problem, whenever I play Pokemon Firered And Pokemon Sapphire on my new VBA Link Emulator, i save as normally and then i can normally reset the rom to my last saved state. I avoid saving within the emulator because it just doesn't feel right and i don't approve of it. But I wait a while like afk when i'm eating dinner and i was playing my newly started Pokemon Sapphire, I come back to the game, i acidently pressed possibly 2-3 button at the same time and the emulator closes. I reopen and play the rom but the when i passed the Pokemon sapphire intro, i saw that the current save state was odd, i clicked on it and then realized that i'm playing my earlier save state where i only had 3 Pokemon on me my last current saved game had full party pokemon. This same thing happened when i was playing Pokemon Firered a while ago on a different computer, but when I play Pokemon firered on my usual laptop, the current save state was loaded.

Does this problem concern different computers or is it a known problem using VBA Emulator.
This problem in my firered happened 2 times already but then i replayed the rom and it went back to latest saved game.
Now its happneing to my sapphire version.
PLEASE IS THERE A REASON TO THIS

by the way, i'm playing on a flash drive, if that could be the cause.
its only a matter of time until my latest saved game file shows up again.

I'm certain different computers don't matter (unless you switch from like a pc to a mac). As long as VBA and your .sav files are on the flash drive it shouldn't matter. Have you been saving on Flash 128k?

You should try opening the save state manually, you might have accidentally switched save slots.

Yes I have switched it a long time ago.

LOL...... I know what i did now, i used my other emulator to play the sapphire Rom, i keep two emulator so its easy to open two VBALink windows to trade. I acidently used my Pokemon Firered VBALink Emulator to play my Pokemon sapphire rom. I see my last saved place now, what should i do, i want my VBALink number two(the one i usually use to play pokemon sapphire) to have the same saved state, should I import the battery pack two the VBALink number two?

Transferring the battery pack to the other VBALink should work, yes.
