Thread: Is N64 emulation active?

  1. #1

    Default Is N64 emulation active?

I know that PJ64 is dead, are there any other emulators that are actively progressing? Obviously in areas like compatibility, but what about stuff like full-screen shaders (as per SNES/PSX emulation)?

Hacktarux, the original programmer for Mupen64 is working on an N64 project similar in goals as BSNES, but its probably not gonna be able to play games at full speed any time soon.

On Wikipedia if you type "list of video game emulators" it has a list of emulators for each system and if they are active. It also has how new or old the last release was. Hope that helps

Wikipedia isn't really the best source for up to date emulators, some of those articles might be outdated.
