    Default Soul Silver Rom Problem

    I am using DeSmuMe 0.9.8 to play pokemon soul silver. I have hit a wall, when I go to battle a specific trainer in the belsprout tower it just freezes on the screen where it shows how many pokemon he has. My problem is the balls will continue to cycle but it will not show how many I have or sometimes none at all. I have no idea how to get past this or prevent this from happening once I restart. Any tips or suggestions?
