    Default Quesion with DeSmuME emulator

Ok literally downloaded this emualtor 10 minutes ago, went to find the control section and found it doesn't ahve a 'speed up' function like the Visual Boy Advance has, anyway to get the emulator to do that, not a big deal if it isn't, i'll just have to get used to playing Pok?mon at proper speeds

It does, the default speed up button is the key above the "Enter" key. If that isn't the case, I'll test it and post the real key.

Okay, found it out, all you got to do is use the "TAB" key, you hold it down to speed through stuff.

You can change the keys in both "Config/Control Config" or "Config/Hotkey Config".

Looks like you just check the "Config/Control Config".
Your problem can be solved in "Config/Hotkey Conifg". Change the "Fast Forward"(you need to press it all the time) or "Fast Forward Toggle"(you need to press it only once) to any key you like. They in the "Main" tab(the tab which open as default when you choose "Config/Hotkey Config"). You can try other too.

If the key you input is already in use, it will show with different color. The detail explanation for the different colors is just right there. Be sure to read it if the color changed after you input any key.
