Well its possible ( however unlikely ) that the set you download is not what it says it is. Its else possible you just not setting it up right. How are you setting up the rom folders?

this might be a noob question but i just moved from xbox to pc emulation
I downloaded a ROM pack for Mame 0.143 Its kinda big and took me a while to get so i dont' want to upgrade.
i downloaded MameUI 0.143 version but it doesn't read the roms, i dont' know what i'm doing wrong.
i think it would be faster to download an emulator than to use the .dat file and upgrade it, plus i think my set is complete don't want to mess it up..

it says romset 0.143 they are placed inside the emulator folder under roms, when i scan them it only detects around 100 out of like 6000.
