I'm really new to all this emulator stuff. I got a nintendo emulator the other day and I've been playing my games using the Keyboard but its very difficult and I find that I usually lose within the first 5 mins. And I was thinking of getting a PS2 emulator as well but I probably won't if I cannot find a controller for it. So I was curious if I bought a PS2 style control pad for my PC with a USB connection would i be able to play both old NES games as well as PS2 games? And what about old NES games that require a Zapper how can I play those games? Any help is greatly appreciated, its been a lot of fun I'm playing games I never thought I'd ever see again.

Don't bother with a PS2 emulator right now... It usually takes some time before emulators are perfected to the consol...
