    Default ATI HD 6800 Plugin Problem

    My Specs are

    CPU: Phenom X4 3.2
    GPU: ATI Radeon 6850
    Ram: 8gb

    Im trying to get EPSXE to work but it either crashes or I get a black screen. I tired multiple plugins and setting but still nothing. Any help on this will be greatly appreciated

    OP here, I just ended up switching to pSX 1.13 which seems to work without any problems

    Do you have Windows 7...this would have helped. Sometimes its not a matter of trying different plugins only, its also trying different settings. Funny, in certain cases people like me didn't understand that Emulators are Software, "tricking the computer" to play this games and most problems come from a software issue.

    Its why using a different emulator worked, otherwise you would have to switch out your hardware, if it was a hardware problem.

    A Computer may be a top notch Gamer's Computer, but if you don't have the right .dll file, that emulator ain't starting.

    Video Plugin: Pete's OpenGL driver 1.77

    Config > Video > Under "Select/Config Main Video Plugin"
    Click "Black Triangle" > Choose Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.77 >
    Click Configure

    -Resolution & Colors-
    Desktop resolution: 640 x 480
    Color depth: 32 Bit

    Texture quality: don't care - Use driver's default textures
    Texture filtering: 0: None
    Hi-Res textures: 0: None (standard)
