pcsx2 closing when I click "start new game"

Hello!

I downloaded the PCSX2 0.9.6, and a game's .ISO (The Sims 2). All was working fine, I was very happy (I had a PS2 a few years ago, and I loved this game) for the quickly and fine running. But after the loading screens, I wanted to start a new game, and when I clicked on the "Start new game > One Player", the game crashed... without any error messages... I'm very sad Please, help!

-Sounds: P.E.Op.S SPU2 1.9.0

-First controller: LilyPad 0.10.0

-Second Controller: SSPSX PAD Plugin Pressure Mod 1.7.0

-Cdvdrom: Gigaherz's CDVD Plugin 0.7.0

-Dev9: Dev9null Driver 0.3.0

-Usb: USBnull Driver 0.5.0

-Firewire: FWnull Driver 0.4.0

-BIOS: Europe v02.00 (14/06/2005) Console

As far I know, this game doesn't work properly with 0.9.6, you will need a new version; like PCSX2 0.9.7 beta (r3878) or the new stable PCSX2 0.9.8.

The 0.9.7 Wasn't working but the 0.9.8 is good Thank you so much!!! I never thought I need a new version of the PCSX2 and the bios/plugins
