Cant play pokemon white on SC DSone v2?

The title pretty much says it all but to give a few more details, i am able to start the game up, the intro scene plays through and i get as far as the screen where you can choose "new game" etc... but after i choose new game professor Jupiter comes up and then it freezes, im still able to see prof but the game is frozen at that one spot, admittedly i have not updated the card in a very long time so i have considered that but i just wanted a few more opinions

Yeah, you might want to get a new R4. By the way, did you make sure to patch the rom up? Nintendo probably made this the most needily patched rom of all time.

If you search google, you will find a whole slew of rom patches and code patches alike. Pick which one you think will work best, otherwise you might be SOL.
