can anyone get goodnes to work !!

i cant get it to sort my files into the proper directories.
the only thing it will do is scand

Use GoodWindows to help it. If you still get stuck, use ROMCenter.

i used that gui & a different one

none of them worked,

i even tried every command

it did stick them in NESRen folder thats it.

will romcenter sort the roms into directories ?

In GoodWindows are you checking the box "dirs" under options?

Put all your roms into the same folder as the goodnes executable file and other required files, then delete any directories.

from the command prompt type " goodnes ren dirs " and it will sort them all properly.

Each version you upgrade you will have to resort in this manner, I believe this is also true when filtering out dupes or other unwanted files and wishing to get a proper recount as well.
