    Default Sega CD Snatcher Problems

So I got the Snatcher file and I'm trying to emulate it, but whenever I get to cutscene parts the game just loops the background animation, and no sound or sprite animation accompanies it. For example, when Gillian goes to the ruins, the emulator just loops the animation of him sitting in the turbocycle. I'm using fusion and I know it has to do with the .mp3 files. I have 02-22 and if you need anymore information I'll send you guys a screen-cap of the file. Please help, as I know other people have had this problem as well!

You might have better luck on the Fusion's own forums. I know Steve begrudingly introduced MP3-CD support, but the format has lots of quirks that make it a pain in the ass.

Audio track timings in particular. One missing file or incorrect duration on a file can crash the whole game.

You really should look for BIN/CUE releases that way your get an actual image of the disc with its audio tracks, unmodified.

There is a solution for this that usually works. Its called the Sega Cue Maker. It basically generates a cue file for your existing ISO and sound files that helps the emulator read it properly. Generate the cue file and place it in your game folder, then point the emulator at the cue rather than the ISO.

    It can be found Here.

Read the documentation its very self explanatory and quick to use.

Snatcher is my fave game pretty much and I always play it on Gens - always works 100% perfect on that, so why not give that a go?
