problem with pokemon snap.

I use project64 1.6 to play n64 games, and recently downloaded pokemon snap. The problem is that after each level, when you have to select which photographs to show the professor, it does not display the photographs properly all that each photo shows is a strange blur of lines and colours, making it impossible to select the best pictures to take forward. I have tried with several different emulators and different roms of the game, but the same problem occurs every time. Could it be something to do with my graphics card? I have directx10 installed, and my PC, despite having shitty onboard graphics, can play all other n64 games perfectly well.
