Thread: Anyone successful at editing save states?

  1. #1

Question Anyone successful at editing save states?

Just wondering if anyone attempted and was successful at editing save states using a hex editor. This is also known as "Save state Hacking".

I been trying for the past week to edit a save states of "Pirate! Gold" for Sega using the guide I had found and does not work. After I edit the save and load the game my results where nothing changes in the game or the game glitches and all you see is tiling.

I tried 3 different roms still same. I am using Fusion v3.51

If you need the guide I been following ill post it if I'm allowed to post links here.

Something like that is extremely difficult, you are gonna have to know almost everything about K Fusion in order to be able to do that.
