I have played pokemon FireRed with VBA for a while now, with max speed of 170% or something like that.
Then one day I opened VBA and it's speed was with speed toggle about 300%. That made the game progress a lot faster
But then when I opened it again today, it was back to 170%... I made no changes on the emulator itself, the rom is the same, so I don't really know why that is... Propably Vista

If someone has an idea how I could speed it up back to 300%, plz let me know ;D
