i was wondering if i were to download a ps2 emulator would i be able to play regular ps2 cds on my computer such as kingdom hearts 1 also if i can play ps2 cdroms on my computer what is the best known ps2 emulator

If your processor is fast enough, you can run ps2 games straight off the disc, but they run faster if you turn them into an ISO and keep them on your computer (that takes up a lot of space very fast).

The best ps2 emu is PCSX2.

i got one last question if i turn a normal ps2 cd into a iso will it hurt the original ps2 game because it's not my game i want to turn into a iso

No, all it does is copy the info on the disc.
