yoshi story

I am using project 64, and it has worked beautifully for most games. While some games have occasional hiccups or problems with sprites, the only major problem is on Yoshi story. When side scrolling, the image doubles and flickers so that it looks like there is a mini window on the left side of the screen that rapidly flickers. this window has a compressed version of what is on the main screen. This is hard to describe, so i hope i have been concise. I have tried changing most of the settings but nothing has helped. Is there any way to fix this?

btw i have Yoshi story in both a .v64 file and .z64 file and both do the same thing

There are known graphic problems with Yoshis story on PJ64. If you check the help file for PJ64 it states that you might try another graphics plugin (and mess with the various settings). If all else fails try another emulator.
