Trying to extract movie files from Chrono Cross

Okay, i've recently been playing around with extracting the *.str files from psx cds, and turning them into avi files, and i've been using the PSmplay tool. So far i've had success with final fantasy 9 and mega man x 4. when i tried to get the movie files from chrono cross, it seemed to analyze the cd data fine, but when i tried to watch them or convert them to *.avi files, i got the error message "bad magic number". If anybody could help me with this or recommend a better psx movie extractor, i'd be much obliged.

Try PSXMC, its more advanced than PSmplay.

Thanks! used psxmc and it worked. now all i need is a good freeware video editor...
